Is this a new charge?

Although this may appear to be a "new" charge on your electric bill, members have always been charged a Service Availability fee that has been included as part of the monthly Energy Charge.

Since the Cooperative is having to change how it recovers its fixed costs, we are now unbundling the Energy Charge to make it easier to show members how their monthly bill is calculated.
