For full details regarding Berkeley Electric Cooperative's Solar Power Program please see the links below. Please note that a completed Interconnection Agreement will need to be submitted to participate in the program.

Effective August 15, 2017, Berkeley Electric will resume the $5 per kW charge for the Net Metering program based on reaching the 3,000 kW allotment that allowed the Cooperative to subsidize the program.

Please note that members have the option the option to interconnect with our established standards and choose NOT to be on Net Metering.  In this scenario, any surplus kWh would pass directly back to the Cooperative without being purchased by Berkeley Electric.  Follow the above interconnection process and notify us that you are choosing not to be on Net Metering.
