Berkeley Electric Cooperative is now accepting nominations for the Board of Trustees in Districts 1, 4, and 7. Potential candidates must be members in good standing and reside in the district for the seat they are running for. They must also submit a petition with the signatures of at least 50 active Berkeley Electric Cooperative members by the Sept. 18 deadline.

The board is elected by members at the annual meeting in November, and trustees serve as their voice, shaping the cooperative's direction and ensuring decisions are made in the best interests of the community it represents
