What we would like to do is help to make your life a little easier and less stressful by giving you the power to control your electric bill. It may sound a little bit crazy to try to help you use less of the product we sell, but as a not-for-profit electric cooperative, we are member-owned which means we do our best to look out for you.
VIRTUAL ENERGY AUDIT
With so many of us spending more time at home, you may have noticed that your energy use has crept up or a spike in your bill that isn't weather-related. Even if you are just worried that your home isn't quite efficient enough our free virtual energy audit may just be the answer you're looking for.
At Berkeley Electric Cooperative, our entire metering system is digital and is capable of two-way communication. That means, our meters are sending us data about the energy use at your house every thirty minutes. This makes it a lot easier to determine your normal energy use and pinpoint problem areas.
When you contact us, a certified energy auditor will reach out to you and review your home's data to create a personalized plan of action to help correct any problems that are identified. They'll also gladly offer plenty of other energy savings tips and talk to you about the programs we have that can make your life a little easier...and it is all free to you as a member of Berkeley Electric Cooperative.
